Canterbury is made up of a tapestry of rich and overlapping communities including individual geographies such as towns, suburbs and cities, many cultures, ages and other ways that we relate to one other.
This page is intended to help you to recognise connections and encourage you to link with our services and support, beginning perhaps from within a community that you already identify with.
Canterbury
We are based in Christchurch but here to serve people throughout Canterbury. In some cases people are able to travel to use our services, however for others the distances to travel are too great.
We lack the resources to provide ‘boots on the ground’ in areas outside greater Christchurch. We are however available by phone and email and we are open to ideas about how our knowledge and resources might be better employed to assist people in areas remote from Christchurch.
If you as an organisation or an individual see a need and believe that the nature of what we do and how we do it could help meet that need please talk with us.
Christchurch
This is where our face-to-face work with individuals and group programmes occurs. Most people can access our offices however, for some the nature of their unwellness or a lack of suitable transport means that moving around confidently within Christchurch is difficult or impossible.
Whilst we don’t have the resources to devolve our services into the suburbs we are available by phone and email and we are open to ideas about how our knowledge and resources might be better employed to assist all people.
If you as an organisation or an individual see a need and believe that the nature of what we do and how we do it could help meet that need please talk with us.

Earthquakes
We all have earthquakes as our common experience, whether or not we were in Canterbury when the ‘big ones’ struck.
Some people have been deeply affected either by their direct experience of the earthquakes or by the ongoing aftermath issues of a broken city, personal losses, change, struggle and displacement.
We can help you to work through issues such as anxiety, depression or addiction issues that you may be continuing to struggle with.
